12/1 Books and Babies

This infant lapsit program will provide early literacy opportunities for caregivers and babies through a story time with interactive song, movement, and fingerplay. After the program, babies and adults will have time to play and socialize. Siblings are welcome.

A book club for teens, aimed at highlighting the various books being challenged or banned across the country.

This month we will be reading Gender Queer by Maia Kobabe.

12/3 VIRTUAL: 50+ Job Seekers Networking Group – Second Act Careers (“Thinking Outside The Box”)

The Library 50+ Job Seekers Networking Group meets via Zoom on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month, from 9:30am to 11:30am. Informal networking takes place from 9am to 9:30am and 11:30am to noon. If you are unemployed and actively looking, underemployed, seeking a new career direction, re-entering the job market after a long employment gap, or recently retired and looking for your “Encore Career,” this networking group program is perfect for you!

12/3 Cookbook Club: BYO Cookbook

For December’s Cookbook Club, we are doing a BYO cookbook or “Show and Tell!”

Instead of reading one specific cookbook, we’re asking you to choose your own. Participants are encouraged to bring a favorite dish from a favorite cookbook (also bring the cookbook)!

Cookbook Club is every first Wednesday of the month.

Preschoolers can join us on Friday mornings for their very own Story Time! We will use stories, songs, felt boards and more to help your child to develop early literacy and kindergarten readiness skills. Each meeting will conclude with a craft to reinforce additional skills. Siblings are welcome.

**REGISTRATION UPDATE: Please only register the 3-5 year old child who will be participating in the CRAFT after story time! Younger siblings are absolutely welcome, but do not need to be registered if they are not participating in the CRAFT.**
