Project 351 Stone Garden and Cards for Heroes

Friday, August 27th, 2021

Cards for 9/11 Heroes:

What: To show our support and gratitude for men and women in the Military, we are asking you to decorate cards that hold respectful messages and gratitude. Please address your card with, “Dear Soldier,” and sign with your first name. Then your cards will be sent along with care packages to U.S. Military troops.

Where: Once you have made a card please drop it off in the Stevens Memorial Library front lobby. If you placed your card in an envelope please do not seal it so all cards can be reviewed.

North Andover 9/11 Tribute Stone Garden:

What it is: In an effort to honor the lives lost during the September 11th attacks we are gathering patriotic stones to create a garden outside of the Stevens Memorial Library.

What you can do: We are asking you to paint/decorate a rock with patriotic colors and respectful messages. Then place it in the rock garden outside of the Stevens Memorial library.

Take a picture of your decorated rock and post it on social media using the hashtag #P351stonegarden.

I hope you enjoy this project!

Friday, August 20th, 2021

Effective Monday August 23, 2021, masks will be required inside of municipal buildings in North Andover.  Visitors to Town buildings are required to wear a mask, and employees are required to wear a mask when not in their individual offices.  We will re-evaluate this decision on a monthly basis.
