Tuesday, April 16th, 2019

Sunday, May 12 @ 2:30PM

Ed Webster, mountaineer, presents a riveting lecture and breathtaking slideshow.
In 1988, Ed Webster achieved and survived the Impossible — a brand new route up Mt. Everest’s remote Kangshung East Face in Tibet. A climb accomplished without any of the usual norms of oxygen bottles, radios, and Sherpa assistance. Their 1988 International Everest Expedition is to this day the smallest team (just four friends with no outside help) to pioneer one of Mt. Everest’s major routes.
