SAT 4/1 Community Seed Swap

Join us in time to start your spring planting! Attendees can pick up seeds specifically chosen for our region, get tips from other North Andover gardeners, and learn about the whole process (from seed to harvest) from professional MA gardener Kate Donovan of Blackstone Valley Veggie Gardens.

WED 4/5 Peep-o-Rama Contest Begins

Pick up a pack of Peeps at the library and take them home to create your own book-themed diorama featuring the marshmallow treats. There will be three categories: children, teens, and adults. The top winner of each category will receive a gift card to Mad Maggie’s Ice Cream!

Pickup: April 5-11 (While Supplies Last)

Voting: April 18-23

Dog Day Afternoons

Sign up in the Children’s Room for a 15-minute reading session with one of our friendly, certified, therapy dogs!

For children currently enrolled in 1st grade or older who would benefit from reading practice.

Space is limited so don’t roll over on this one!

Storytimes

Storytime is approximately 1 hr.

Mondays @10:30am :  Oh Baby! Lapsit (ages 0-18 months)
This infant program will provide early literacy opportunities for caregivers and babies through a story time with interactive song, movement, and fingerplay.  This program is meant to benefit both caregivers and babies and meet friends in our community. Siblings are welcome.

Wednesdays @10:30am : Wiggleworms Toddler Time (ages 18-36 months)
Storytime for toddlers will include songs, stories, felt boards, and other visual methods of storytelling.  Presenter will include music and movement interspersed with shared reading experiences to engage this very active age. Siblings are welcome.

Fridays @10:30am : On Our Own Preschool Storytime (ages 3-5 years)
Storytime for preschool age will include songs, stories, felt boards, and other visual methods of storytelling.  Music and movement interspersed with shared reading increased the preschoolers’ stamina and attention span for longer stories/activities. Siblings welcome.
